Hari om everyone,
Happy New Year! It was nice to see the children back in class after a long break.
Today we practised the gItaa chanting till verse 58. We then played a game - A picnic game! There were certain rules for the game and we had to make sure we followed ALL the rules. Through this game we learned a very intense topic - the karmasiddhaanta.
We had briefly mentioned this before but hadn't discussed in depth. This is a very loaded topic which is intense and can get dry at the same time. We tried to ease into the topic through the game so that the concepts are internalised perfectly. It is very essential for us to know the karmasiddhaanta perfectly well. Else, we may miss out on understanding the rest of vedaanta!
But the kids are so young?! Yes! So..., we catch them young :). It will take time to get a good grasp of the subject. We will be revisiting and weaving through the definitions time and again until we will get comfortable.
Please ask your children what caught their attention or discuss what concerns/questions they have.
