A quick recap of the last two classes in December, before we went away on vacation:
December 9, 2018- We had a wonderful stage performance and the kids exceeded all our expectations and did a fabulous job, and also enjoyed every moment of it!
Our sincere gratitude to all the parents for all their efforts in getting the children dressed up so beautifully, and coming for the practice sessions diligently. We could not have done it without your cooperation and encouragement.

December 16, 2018 – The children were all taken to the main hall to watch "On a Quest".
January 6, 2019 - Our first class in the New Year. The children were excited to be back after the break.
We welcome Bhargavi Thacker, one of our parents to our team as a co-teacher. Thank you Bhargavi and we look forward to many exciting teaching sessions together.
We continued with our alphabet Safari, letter E for Enthusiasm.
We brainstormed the meaning of Enthusiasm, read the story from Ramayana about the chipmunk who helped construct the bridge and how the Lord Rama rewarded him and all chipmunks thereafter with three stripes. We also narrated the story about the boy saving one fish at a time when they hit the high tide and get washed ashore. The moral of this story was that every action, even if it's a small one, when completed with enthusiasm will result in a positive outcome.
We completed the Lego toy activity ( Photo attached) to demonstrate how enthusiasm can make every activity interesting and enjoyable!The children also complete likhitha japa of OM, and chanted Kraagre Vasate as a continuation of our efforts to get ready for the Slokhathon.As always we had the Gita Chanting session and the children repeated the lines.
Thank you everyone. Next week we will be assisted by students from 10, 11 and 12 grades.
We look forward to it, and again thank you for sharing your sweet children with us! We enjoy every minute with them.
