Questions Parents should ask children this week
- Quiz them on the following family tree
- Why was Duryodhana Jealous?
Ans: The Pandavas were back and he could see his grip on the kingdom slipping away. Also Bheema was very strong and was constantly bullying them and beating them in all the games
- How did Bheema end up in Nagaloka and gained more strength?
Ans: Duryodhana poisoned Bheema with sweets and dropped into the river. As he descended into the depths of the river, he was bitten by the nagas. The nagas poison counter-acted with the poison he had consumed earlier and he woke up. Once the naga King realized it was Bheema they gave him potion that gave him the strength of a 1000 elephants
- Why was Drona looking for revenge against Drupada?
Ans: As young boys, Drona & Drupada were best of friends, when they were studying under the same Guru. At the time, when they were young, Drupada promised to help Drona. After their education when they parted ways and went on to lead their lives, Drupada became the King, and Drona a teacher. But Drona ran into financial troubles and faced tough time feeding the family. He remembered his friend Drupada and went to his court reminding Drupada of their friendship and asked for help. Drupada mocked him and sent him away.

Swami Chinmayanandaji's thought for the day: As long as we have not realized that the whole creation is nothing but our own Self, which is as divine and omnipotent as the Lord of Dwaraka Himself, so long we cannot afford to leave our intimate relationship and complete dependence upon the Perceptor and Guide, the Guru.
