We are very excited to welcome your children to our Balavihar class. I hope your family had a great summer and your kids are getting back to school and other extra-curricular activities. We are looking forward to having a fun filled year with lots of learning, reflection and contemplation.
Our 7th grade curriculum consists of two books:
1) Key to success
2) Ramayana by C. Rajagopalachari
Our first-class day was September 9th. It was great to see and get to know your children. We played the game two truths and a lie as an icebreaker and introduced ourselves. We also went over the class rules, protocols and the curriculum. On our second-class day (September16th) we followed the following agenda:
Morning prayers and Guru Strotam
Meditation followed by marble dropping exercise to increase focus (please ask your children for the details)
