As we complete the Week 2 of Grade 5 Sunday AM class, attached please find this week's update (Sept 16th).
We continue to update the parents contact information file. Once we have the list completed most likely by Week 3 (Sept 23rd) when we have the back to Balavihar session, we plan to setup the whats app group for updates.

Continued further into the next set of Mahabharata chapters
Vichitravirya marriage to Ambika & Ambalika
Birth of Dhritarashtra, Pandu & Vidura
Pandu's swayamvara to Kunti & marriage to Madri
Dhritarashtra's marriage to Gandhari
Initial discussion on the birth of the Kauravas & Pandavas
Revision of the Family Tree of the Mahabharata discussed in the session thus far

We learnt the first & second para of Ganesha Pancharatnam Bhajan
Vikram Ranganath volunteered to write the first Blog as of the end of week 2 of Grade 5 Sunday AM Session

Reminder to the kids for items to be brought to the class
A notebook (does not have to be new. Can reuse any old notebook, as long as it has 30+pages)
Pencil / Pen / Eraser to take notes
A small binder to keep any sheets of paper that we might distribute in the class
