Welcome to Chinmaya Vrindavan Balavihar - Sun1245 Toddler - Pre-K class. We are very excited to have you and your child in our class and we are looking forward to another great fun filled year of learning!
To keep the class more engaged, starting this year, we will send out weekly class summaries. Please look out for these emails.
Today's class started with opening prayers, ice breaker (Hari Om game), stretches and yoga.
As a class, we did the following:
· Chanted/repeated the below 3 chants
o Om Sri Ganeshaya namaha,
o Om Sri Saraswathye namaha,
o Om Sri Sat Gurubyoh namaha
· Learned a new sloka – Vakratunda Mahakaya
vakratunda mahākāya
sūryakoṭi samaprabha
nirvighnam kurū me deva
sarva karyeśu sarvadā
· Recited two bhajans – Ganesha saranam and Great God Ganapathi(action song)

· Chanted Bhagavad Gita chapter 18th, 41st sloka from our handbook.
· Played meditation game and learned Sanskrit numbers 1 to 10.
· Enjoyed a story "Bull called Delightful" which conveys the importance of being polite with one another.
· Enthusiastically worked on the "Bull craft – Please & Thank you".
· We attended the closing prayers and aarthi at the Temple.
We hope all of you enjoyed the class as much as we did. The children were awesome and we had so much fun interacting with them.
Our next class is on 09/23/2018 and we are looking forward to another fun filled session!
