Hari Om everyone!
This week we started class of with our starting prayers, after which we chanted the Lakshmi Ashtakam. Then we chanted the Mahishasura Mardini up until what we have learned, and then we learned the ninth verse of the Mahishasura Mardini.
Since the Mela is coming up, where there will be various cultural performances, we learned about some of the different dance forms of India and watched brief clips of some of them. Some of the dances we learned about are:

Our annual Vrindavan Mela is scheduled for June 8th, 10AM-7PM, followed by off-season Garba!!
An entire day full of activities, games, arts and crafts, performances and contests for both kids and adults! Plus to satisfy our appetite - tasty, yummy Indian food!
