Summary:
After a break for few weeks, we continued with Ramayana story - abduction of Seetha, pushpakavimana , jatayu introduction to Ravana's brothers.
Then we started with Vibhishana Gita, chapter 6 in the 'Key yo Success' book. Gita means a song and Vibhishana Gita is one taught by Rama to Vibhishana.
Anandhi gave an intro to the war scene and how Vibhishana has move Rama's side ! Vibhishana sewing the strong army of Ravana and knowing how powerful his brother is got a little concerned and raised his doubt to Rama.
Rama responded eloquently with Vibhishana Gita which indeed is s master key to success in our lives.
We explained to them how Rama described his side also was equipped with a chariot - a hypothesis chariot that was made up of virtues in the path of righteousness. For eg. the wheels are valor and fortitude, the horses are strength, self control , caring and so on...
We let the children draw each part of the chariot, writing the corresponding virtues on the whiteboard, taking turns so as to make the class more engaging. Kids had questions over how the difference were mapped to different virtues- if there was any reasoning we also requested the kids to make notes in their own notebooks as well.
We were almost done with the large picture and introduction of the chariot.
