Today's Activities

1. Guru Stotram
2. Completed & revised the last Ganesha Stavah bhajan
3. Practiced Geeta Chanting Chapter 18, Verses 45-58. Resending the video recording of the children reciting verses 45-56.  https://drive.google.com/open?id=1r9hw6HRREdgS6-rkkyJEYIvtqoMx1Z4j

     We will send an updated Geeta chanting recording of the children with additional verses in 3-4 weeks from now.

4. We revised the Mahabharata story covered in the previous session from the initial thought of the Rajasuya Yagna by the Pandavas, planning for the fight with Jarasandha and initiation of the yagna. We further progressed with the story to cover:
1. Krishna's welcome as special guest to the event
2. Insult & slaying of Shishupala by Krishna, along with the backstory of Sishupala's birth and his boon of committing 100 sins
3. Duryodhana's jealousy noticing the splendor of the Indraprastha Palace, the respect commanded by Yudhishtir from the other kings, and the feeling of insult after mistaking a still pool of water for marble floor
4. Duryodhana forcing Dhritarashtra to invite the Pandavas for a game of dice
5. Shakuni tricking Yudhishtir into losing everything from wealth, assets and his family including his brother & wife Draupadi to the Kauravas
6. Kauravas (including Karna) insulting  and mistreating of Draupadi, with Krishna coming to save Draupadi's honor.
5. Learnt the next two verses 59-60 of chapter 18, signing along with our Pujya Swami Shantanandiji
6. Short Meditation session
