We had another week of exciting session of Balavihar with Grade 6th Youths
- We started our class with our opening prayers, and Ganesha Bhajans.
- We continued with our Mahabharatha story and after recapping Abhimanyu war fare and Jayadratha death talked about Drona's end. We talked about "Ashwathama Hathaha, Kunjaraha" and then Karna taking over as commander in chief and his battle. We went through GatodhGaja, how furiously he fought Kauravas and to contain him Karna has to use the special weapon he reserved for Arjuna to kill. Once GatodhGaja was killed Krishna shows relief and embraces Arjuna with happiness since his chance of being killed by Karna is nill. Discussed about the battle of Karna and Arjuna. After Karna's chariot gets stuck,Arjuna kills Karna. When karna complains about adharmic action Krishna reminds him about the unfair warfare administered by Karna towards Abimanyu.
- Students then completed quiz chapter 21 and 22. from the handbook.
- We also had Geeta chanting and talked about our class play.
We concluded the balaviahr session with Aarti and Pledge in the Main Assembly Hall.
