  Shlokas:
·         Sahanavavattu (opening prayer)
·         Mahishasuramardini Stotram -1 and 2 (page 47 MyPrayers)
  Lesson:
·         Vyasa grants divine vision to Sanjaya.

·         Dhritarashtra's message conveyed to Arjuna by Sanjaya in secrecy.

·         Warriors from both sides meet and set the rules of the war and Bhishma's address to all his warriors

·         Story of Hanumanji's presence on Arjuna's flag

·         Noble act of Yudhishtira before the war

·         Bhagavad Gita -Arjuna's nervous breakdown, Lord's explanation about body vs soul, Karma yoga, difference between Jnana and Karma yoga, Nature of self, Lord's vishwaroopa, devotion, Lord's final message with Moksha Sanyasa Yoga (chap 18)

·         Battle begins -First day of the war – Abhimanyu's fight, Uttra gets killed by Salya, Sweta gets killed by Salya.

  Activities:
Discussion about our stage play which is based on Gita chapter 18. Roles have been assigned to the kids. General discussion about the play, roles and settings.
Chapter 18 Moksha Sanyasa Yoga is the summary of entire song of Gita by the Lord. Kids will enact stories based on few verses pertaining to
1.    Non-doership,
2.    General vision of the intellect which does not integrate with higher.
3.    How can there be success without God and truth on our side?
