Hari Om Parents,
November 9th
1. Opening Prayers : We started with chanting 3 Om's followed by prayers "Sahana Vavatu" followed by "Ekadantam Mahakayam" and "Gurur Brahma Gurus Vishnu"
2. Next we went around the room Recaping our Bal Vihar alphabets from last 2 weeks "A For Aspiration" and "B For Brotherhood", "C for Cleanliness",. "D for Daddy', E for Enthusiasm
3. Lesson of the day : F for Friendship
a. Activity : We gave every kid a piece of paper ask them to crumple it and then try their best to flatten it
b. Story Time: Sudhama visiting Krishnas palace and how Krishna enjoys sudhamas gift the rice flakes and how he is treated and his surprise when he comes back home
4 Games
Quiet Game : We played it by dropping shells and asked the kids to count the number of shells dropped, in their mind. We played this after a long time but the kids quietened and settled down.
5.We finally chanted the Bhagwat Gita verse 41, 42 of Chapter 18 on page 21 with all the kids. We also recorded few kids saying verse 41.
