Update on our yesterday's class.We talked about the celebrations in Gokula after hearing the news of Krishna's birth, the killing of the rakshasa's Putana and Punaravarta, by the baby Lord Krishna.Through these stories the kids learnt about forgiveness and its importance.The kids chanted the first 2 verses of Govinda damodara stotram. They have the handouts of the same.We also repeated verses 43 and 44 from chapter 18 of Bhagavad Geeta with Swamiji's guidance. It would be nice if they could find some time to practice these at home.The Balavihar kids house teams kickstarted today and our team is the Krishna's Cowboys!! We scored 177 points in the first competition and we have a lot more coming up.Please read the following important event which is coming soon...CORD Walkathon: Register for CORD Walkathon which is on Oct 28th, Sunday 10:00 AM at Mercer County Park.
