Hari om parents,
We revised the gItaa verses 41-45. We were impressed that quite a few of them had tried to practice at home. They did a good job chanting together in class! We will be recording the chanting one of these days and share with you as well.
The discussions today were regarding the Law of consequence. We discussed in length, about thinking through our actions today to get better outcomes tomorrow!
We spoke elaborately as to why and how we encourage questions and discussions in our dharma. No question is forbidden. That applies to our class too :). We may not have all answers right away, but our shaastra-s are more than capable of giving required clarifications and we will all learn along the way!
We learnt the story of bhagavaan aadi sha~nkaraachaarya and maNDana mishra. We learnt what a healthy discussion meant; how maNDana mishra became sureshvaraachaarya, a great disciple of aadi sha~nkara.
It was a short class as we had House spirit event in the auditorium. The children had taken an online personality quiz and sorted themselves into one of the 4 different houses. They are the captains of their respective teams. They did an amazing job at helping in the activities and cheering their teams.
