Today was the day when the students House's opening ceremony was held!!. All your 4th graders are in Krishna's Cowboys. The house color is Blue.
After the normal opening prayers, the kids learned the first two verses of "Krishna Ashtakam" followed by the house bhajan.
Lakshmi started the story of Sri Krishna Jananam including the background story of Kamasa's evil doings, the imprisonment of his father. Just when lord shows himself up to Devaki and Vasudeva in the prison the class concluded with Swamiji's chanting of Bhagvadgita Chapter 18 verses 43 and 44.
The enitre class then gathered in the lobby to meet other cowboys from other classes!! and participated in a group activity of threading together words out of letters...
Krishna's Cowboys scored 236 point!!
Can you gently remind your kids to practice Bhagvadgita verses and Krishnashtam!!. Also see if they can remember who was the father of Devaki and who Ugrasena was?
