Please see update on Kindergarten Class 12.45 pm Sunday, September 9, 2018
The following activities were completed;
1. Om Chanting and opening prayer Sahana Vavatu
2. As this is the first class, we took some time learning everyone's names, and played a few name games to help everyone remember each other's names.
3. Activity - Ganesha Join the dots page , wherein the children connected the dots and then colored the image of Ganesha.
4. Introduced prayer on Ganesha, Ekadantham Mahakayam, and Bhajan, Great God Ganapathy and explained the significance of Ganesh Chathurthi.
5. We retold a story from the Chinmaya BalVihar monthly magazine in which Krishna and Ganesha meet in Vrindavan and talk about the concept that God is everywhere, and in each of us, and in nature. We also asked questions to the children about Ganesha's attributes and significance of his big ears, broken tusk etc.
6. We concluded the class with providing name tags to all the children for them to decorate and bring to the next class.
