Lesson:

1. Self introduction by all the kids : Kids made a name tag  writing their special skill at the back of it and one most important thing which they expect to learn from grade 6 balavihar.  Based on the answers, all the kids are very motivated and eagerly looking forward to learn more on the Mahabharata Epic.
2. Introduction to the main topics for the Balavihar 2018-19
• Mahabharata - Virata Parva onwards
• India - Sacred land
3. Review of Mahabharata from grade 5
• Introduction of Mahabharata
• Ganesha the scribe, Shantanu
• Bhishma
• Pandavas and Kauravas
• Entry of Drona and Arjuna’s Supremacy

Activities:

Quiz:  Class was divided into 3 teams and played a game of quiz.

Reminder:

• Please bring a notebook, Pencil / Pen / Eraser to take notes, a small binder to keep any sheets of paper that we might distribute in the class and My prayer book .
• Parent teacher meeting (details will be conveyed by session coordinators)
