Hari Om Parents!
Here is the summary of what we covered on the last Sunday class (23rd Sep):
1) Started the class chanting three Om and followed by Sahana vavatu. Went through the meaning and have the kids repeat each line to make the kids familiar with the words.
2) took attendance by having the kids say HariOm.
3) started to recap last week discussion on how to see to God and did an "Lady bug" activity by having group of kids look at the picture that had many tiny creatures with tiny lady buy. Kids used magnifying glass to find the lady bug. Then talked to them about seeing a god with the special mind/ instrument like magnifying glass. Kids were curious and excited to use magnifying glass!!
4) Continued on discussing who can see God by telling short story on Sweet Person with Sweet mind. Then talked how being sweet person and how Vedantic alphabet helps to become a Sweet person with Sweet mind.
5) started with 1st alphabet A for Aspiration. Played a baloon game with kids to show what is needed to achieve our goal and what is considered as real goal. Kids had fun playing baloon!
6) next took them to another short story from Mahabharatha about Arjuna how he was a great archer by having an Aspiration.
