Sep 14, 2018 - Grade 4 (Friday)

Hari Om Parents,

Namaskar. This was our second session and we had more new students!!
Thank you to all the parents who stayed back and attended swamiji's pravachan.

In today's class we revised the story of one of the last great emperor of Pandava dynasty - King Pareekshit, the on set of Kali yuga. We reminded the kids how being near to god can be easily achieved by
  • being good, saying good things -
  • appreciating others,
  • sharing with siblings, friends and those that are less fortunate - not just the things that we have excess or done with but those that are dear to them.
  • avoid using bad and curse words
  • Greeting each others, being courteous and caring
  • respecting all things around us etc.
  • Don't do stuff to others which you don't want them do to you!!
Every kid was asked to pick a word or phrase from a pile and asked them how and when would they would these good words. Please ask your kids if they remember what words they pick from the lot!! and ask them/ gently remind to put them in action for the next week.

Secondly see if you can help your kids with the Indian time line concept of 4 yugas ( Kruta/ Satya, Treta, Dwapara and Kali) and identify a few famous characters from Treta and Dwapara yugas

See all of you and kids next Friday!!

Hari Om!!
