Here is the summary of past 2 weeks
March 1st 2018
1. We started with chanting 3 Om's followed by prayers "Sahana Vavatu" followed by "Ekadantam Mahakayam" and "Gurur Brahma Gurus Vishnu".
2. Next we chanted the Bhagwat Gita verse 41, 42, 43, 44, 45. We learnt new verse 46 of Chapter 18 on page 21 with all the kids.
3. Next we went around the room Recaping our Bal Vihar alphabets from last 2 weeks "A For Aspiration" and "B For Brotherhood", "C for Cleanliness",. "D for Daddy', "E for Enthusiasm", "F for friendship", "G for God', "H for Happy", I for "Intellect", J for "Japa", K for "Kindness", L for Love, M for Mother
4. Lesson of the day : N for Nobility
a. Story Time : We told the story of Gandhiji missing his one slipper when he was getting into the train and left the other slipper so that someone who finds it can have it/
5 Games
Quiet Game : We played it by counting number of times Rama's name / Krishna's name was said by the auntie.

5. Bhajan : Practice for our performance my god is so great. Lyrics have been sent to you earlier. Parents who do not have it please let us know we can resend it.
March 8th

4. Lesson of the day : O for obedience
a. Discussion :
I) Why everyone needs to follow rules. Mother, father, teachers and also kids
II) How nature follows rules
III) What kind of rules that kids need to follow and how it is helpful once we follow rules.
b. Story Time : Boy was travelling with parents on a cruise ship and father fell and could not move. But boy remembered how his father had told that he needs to only talk to mom or dad when he needs help so the boy waited for his mom to come and did not talk to strangers and then his mother came and everything was fine.
5 Games
Quiet Game : We played it by counting number of times Rama's name / Krishna's name was said by the auntie.
Teacher says : Game same as Simon says just to insist that you need to listen to teachers.
