Hari Om Parents,  
Our class started with opening prayers followed by HariOm game. 

OM saha nāvavatu
saha nau bhunaktu
saha vīryam karavāvahai
tejasvināvadhītamastu
mā vidviṣāvahai
OM śāntiḥ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ 

As a class, we did the following:
·  Chanted/repeated the below 3 chants
o   Om Sri Ganeshaya namaha, 
o   Om Sri Saraswathye namaha, 
o   Om Sri Sat Gurubyoh namaha

-Reinforced - vakratunda mahākāya and learned new sloka Guru Brahma.
vakratunda mahākāya
sūryakoṭi samaprabha
nirvighnam kurū me deva
sarva karyeśu sarvadā

gurūr brahmā gurūr viṣṇuḥ gurūr dev maheśwaraḥ
gurūreva parambrahmā tasmai śri gurave namaḥ

-After Chanting, we did Yoga poses such as Namaskar,  Sunrise Sunset, Tree, Butterfly to warm up.

- As Devi festival Navratri is just around the corner, we recited two bhajans and first one was "Ganesha Sharanam" followed by "Jaya Jaya Devi" 

Jaya Jaya Devi, Jaya Jaya Devi, 
Durga Devi Sharnam, Durga Devi Sharnam,
Kanak Durga Devi Sharnam 

- We played Lakshmi vadati game in Sanskrit.
- Kids enjoyed the story "Lakshmi and Shreeya" which portrays the importance of being good and devoted.
·  We all worked with kids on the "Devi" craft and kids really enjoyed it.   
.  Reinforced by chanting slokas 41 and 42 from Bhagavad Gita chapter 18th(3 times).

Please reinforce at home the slokas that we learned at class.

We hope all of you enjoyed the class as much as we did. The children were awesome and we had so much fun interacting with them.
