Oct 21, 2018 - Grade 4 (PM Sunday)

Hari Om Parents,
Our Oct 21st class had almost full attendance with just 2 kids missing.
Hoping to see a full class soon ☺️
We had a relatively short class on Sunday as the kids did Saraswathi Pooja. The prayer hall was filled with kids of all grades. It was a delight to watch them do the pooja with utmost devotion following the priest's directions.

We started our class with Om chanting and opening prayer. We recited the first 5 slokas of Govinda Damodara stotram. Our goal is to make the kids chant it without the hand out which we think will achieve soon. All of them are quick learners. Kindly help them learn at home too.
Kids love the story time, It gives us immense happiness to see their faces light up listening to Krishna's mischievous acts with rapt attention.
This week's stories were about Ma Yashoda seeing the entire universe in the Lord's mouth and how he was tied up to a mortar which he drags and uproots the two trees and relieves two celestial beings from a curse.
We also talked about Navaratri, Dussera and its significance.

We will not have class next Sunday, Oct 28th. Please support CORD program by attending the walkathon at Mercer County Park.
