Below is the summary from our class yesterday. Thankyou for your cooperation with our play practice schedule.
Week 16:
3rd February 2019 / 9:15AM
Shlokas:
· Sahanavavattu (opening prayer)
· Mahishasuramardini Stotram -Review of 1, 2 and 3 (page 47 MyPrayers)
Lesson:
· Karna visits Bhishma. Karna enters the battlefield. Drona is appointed as the commander in chief.
· Day 11 of the battle - Kauravas plan to capture Yudhishtira alive. Drona almost succeeds in the capture but is stopped by Arjuna.
· Day 12 of the battle – Trigartas challenge Arjuna for the war. Bhima fights with Bhagadatta's elephant. Bhagadatta is killed by Arjuna. Kauravas have failed attempts to capture Yudhishtira.
· Day 13 of the battle – Arjuna is taken away from battlefield by samsaptakas. Drona arranges army in the form of lotus. Abhimanyu gives a fierce battle to kauravas and gets killed. Pandavas support to Abhimanyu gets stopped by Sindhu king Jayadratha. Arjuna takes a oath to kill Jayadratha.

Revised all the verses from 41 to 58.
Chanted verses 59 and 60.
The next week we will be recording kids chanting the verses in the class to send for the house points.
Please have kids practice the verses regularly.
