Hari Om everyone!
This is an announcement to inform you that the seventh grade play, Sunday PM session, will be taking place on March 10th. Prajna and I are still forming ideas and will send out a script to everyone during the week. We kindly ask you to read the script once it is sent. Parts will be assigned this coming Sunday in class and practices will start then as well. Some ground rules before we start rehearsing.
1. Children who are given a part in the play must come to every single practice/class before the play. There is not a lot of time till the play and every minute we get to practice with the kids is vital.
2. Play parts are nonnegotiable once assigned.
The kids yesterday were extremely vibrant and we enjoyed a great class with them! We are more than half way finished with the Ramayana. Currently, we are about to discuss Hanuman finding Sita in Lanka and the chaos that ensues. We also had discussions about the following questions and quote:
1. Where do we find happiness?
2. What is the "master-key" to life?
3. "Success is a matter of luck. Ask any failure."
We are extremely excited to begin working on the play with the kids and hope they are as well!
