Hari Om Parents!
Here is the summary of last Sunday's class (10th Feb):
- Started the class chanting three Om and followed by Sahana vavatu.
- recapped last week letters I and J.
- Repeated the activity that we learnt from last week by sitting in circle to say Rama by touching and passing it to the next person and say Rama. Did the say thing with Om as well.
- Moved on with Letter K for Kindness and had the kids share what they think as kindness vs unkindness.
- Did an activity with happy and sad face card and went over few statements of people actions to have the kids figure out what is kindness vs unkindness. Kids used the face card to show that.
- Shared the story of Lion and a boy and how kindness paid off later.
- Learnt L for Love. Given puzzle piece to kids from heart shape to fill in a simple statement about kindness/Love.
- The upcoming Balavihar class(24th Feb) Is Team spirit day. Please have the kids wear Blue for Krishna's cow boy.
