Hari Om Swamiji and Coordinators,
We resumed class after a week's break on account of CORD Walkathon.
We started the class with OM chanting 3 times followed by Om Sahanavavatu which we repeated 3 times to help children remember.
We also chanted "Saraswathi Namasthubhyam which we had taught them on October 21, 2018 as part of the Navarathri celebrations.
The rest of the class was dedicated to practicing for our monthly program which is scheduled for December 9, 2018.
The children are going to dress up as characters of the Ram parivaar and we are going to have them dance and sing to three Ram and Hanuma bhajans as under:
1. Mangala Bhavana
2. Hanuman Chalisa (first three verses)
and 3. Raghupathy Raghava.
The children were quite enthusuastic and today we were able to complete Mangala Bhvana fully. As Ulka ji is not avaialable to come to class, two parents were kind enough to assist me in class and we have made good progress.
Next class we will do the Hanuman Chalisa and try to master that.
We are planning to have additional practises on Saturday November 10 and 17 if we get a good response.
The biggest challenge is that we still continue to get new students every week. We will keep practising with the children who come to class every week and we will do the best we can.
Hari Om Swamiji, Our pranaams,
Thank you,
Priya
