Hari Om Swamiji and Coordinators,
We had a good class today, with the children coming into class eagerly anticipating the practice for the monthly program.
We started the session with Om chanting 3 times, followed by chanting of Om Sahananvavatu and Saraswathi Namsthubhyam, 3 times. The children are now able to chant most of the prayers by themselves.
We continued our efforts to get ready for the monthly program on December 9, 2018. The children were very enthusiastic and most of them have started remembering the actions and the words of the bhajans.
Today we gave special emphasis to the second song, Hanuman Chalisa and made the children do some specific actions to showcase Lord Hanuman's strength and might.
We practised Geeta chanting with the live telecast followed by a short recap of the previous lessons learnt with reference to the alphabet safari.
We were in letter D for Daddy, prior to starting our practises, so we spent a few minutes sharing what fun activities we do with our dad's, what are the various pet names or special names we have for our fathers and what kinds of foods they like, and what were their aspirations.All the children participated and gave excellent examples and explanations.
We are progressing well and will continue our practice of the next song Raghupathy Raghava in the next class.
