We began last class with our regular opening prayers and slokams. As we had finished the Mahalakshmi Ashtakam, the kids had practiced well all week and we recorded them chanting the entire ashtakam! I have sent the video in the whatsapp group, since it is too large to send over email. We started to learn the Mahishasura Mardini, supplying meanings to the slokas as we learn them.
We continued the story of Mahabharata, finishing up until Bhagavan Krishna begins to recite the Bhagavad Gita to Arjuna. Next class, we will continue the story from there, moving further into the events in the battle.
Announcements:
We will not be having class this week because of Thanksgiving Break, nor the week after that because of Surabhi 2018. The next scheduled Balavihar class is December 9th.
