Hari Om Parents!
Here is the summary of what we covered on the last Sunday class (7th Oct):
1) Started the class chanting three Om and followed by Sahana vavatu.
2) started to recap last week discussion of Letter A, B and moved on to Letter C for Cleanliness. Brainstormed what does it mean from surrounding, body and mind perspective. Kids shared quiet bit of action that we can take to be clean. Then We talked in detail of mind cleanliness to highlight the impotance of it in addition to body and house/surrounding cleanliness.
3) did a meditation game to teach them the importance of being quite with quite mind.
3) did an experiment with clear cups, water, mud and sugar to show how it will look like if we are not clean and benefits of being clean.
4) handed over letter C coloring page for take homework. The coloring sheet had Gandhiji's 3 monkeys. We talked about it and then we did another activity of making kids to choose one of that monkey pose and sit as a group. We have taken a picture of it. Will share it.
5) did Geeta chanting verses 1 & 2 again to make the kids familiar with words.
Parents --Please remind the kids for letter C coloring sheet and have them color and arrange it in the folder.
Before going to Arati, we picked three kids who behaved really well in the class and have two of them lead the line front and other in back.
Pranam,
Selvi and Rupali
