Dear Parents,
Thank you for bringing your children on time. It helped us finish this week's curriculum, despite the early dismissal for House event.
This week our schedule was as such:
** Opening Prayers: Shanthi mantra, Vakrathunda mahākāya, Sarasvati namastubhyam, Guru Brahma, Buddhir Balam
** Ganesha Pancharatnam: Verse 2 was taught. Verse 1 and 2 were practiced.
The recording of Verse 2 recitation has been attached.
** Mahabharata - We started with a quiz to ensure all the children knew the characters and their names.
Marriage of Dhritarashtra - Gandhari's devotion - Pandu's marriage to Mādri - King Kuntibhoja's adoption of Pritha(Kunti) - Kunti's boon from Sage Durvasula - the birth of Karna - Pandu's marriage to Kunti.
** Geeta Chanting - this week Swamiji's video on Verse 43 and 44 of Chapter 18 was played and the children chanted along. We request you to have the children practice once a day.
We have started a WhatsApp group for our Friday 5the grade session only for all information/doubts/queries regarding BV.
