Hari Om Parents,
First of all, Welcome all the new parents (who joined for the very first time yesterday) to Chinmaya Vrindavan Balavihar - Fri0700pm Toddler - Pre-K class.
Our class started with opening prayers followed by HariOm game.
OM saha nāvavatu
saha nau bhunaktu
saha vīryam karavāvahai
tejasvināvadhītamastu
mā vidviṣāvahai
OM śāntiḥ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ
As a class, we did the following:
· Chanted/repeated the below 3 chants
o Om Sri Ganeshaya namaha,
o Om Sri Saraswathye namaha,
o Om Sri Sat Gurubyoh namaha
· Reinforced – Karagre Vasathi Lakshmi and Saraswathi Namastubhyam
karãgre vasate lakshmīḥ,
karamūle sarasvatī
karamadhye tu govindaḥ,
prabhāte karadarśanam
varade kāmarūpini
vidyārambham kariṣyāmi
siddhir bhavatu me sadā
After Chanting, we did Yoga and Meditation post which we counted numbers in English and Sanskrit.
· As Devi festival Navratri is just around the corner, we recited two bhajans and first one was "Jaya Jaya Devi" followed by "Great God Ganapathi"–
Jaya Jaya Devi, Jaya Jaya Devi,
Durga Devi Sharnam, Durga Devi Sharnam,
Kanak Durga Devi Sharnam
and Great God Ganapathi (action song)
Great God Ganapathi, I bow to Thee,
Elephant faced One, I bow to Thee
Delight of Lord Shiva, I take refuge in Thee,
O big bellied son of Mother Parvathi
Infinite Om, Oh I bow to Thee
You ride on your mouse and win Victory

Great God Ganapathi, I bow to Thee
· Kids enjoyed a story "The Thirsty Crow" which tells that your mind is your best friend.
· We all worked with kids on the "The Thirsty Crow puppet" craft.
. Chanted Bhagavad Gita chapter 18th, 43rd and 44th verses( 2 times) following Swamijee's telecast .
· We attended the house inaugural ceremony and Pre-K/Toddlers will be part of "Bajrangi Bolts" and will be participating in various competitions through out the year to gain points for our house "Bajrangi Bolts".
We hope all of you enjoyed the class as much as we did. The children were awesome and we had so much fun interacting with them.
Our next class is on 10/05/2018 and we are looking forward to another fun filled session!
