Welcome to Balavihaar 4th grade, Sunday 12:45 session.
Myself (Purna) and Rama are the teachers.
As part of 4th grade curriculum the kids will learn to chant Maha mruthyumjaya mantram, Sri Govinda damodara stotram and Tapovanastakam..
We will also narrate the stories of Krishna during the first half and My 24 teachers, which is the eleventh chapter of Bhagavatam , during the latter part of the year.
In our first class (Sep 9th) we talked about the four yugas, how Kaliyuga came into existence, King Parikshith and his curse.
We discussed about using nice words while conversing with others and being appreciative.
In yesterday's class (Sep 16th) we covered Krishna's birth and how he was moved to Gokul.
We chanted Maha mruthyumjaya mantram and first 2 verses of Govinda damodara stotram.
The kids also did Likhita japa of, 'Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya' 11 times.
